Best Kept Village 2025

Childs Ercall Community Website Best Kept Village Competition 2025

...New Challenge!

The Shropshire Best Kept Village and Community Competition is back!

Hot on the heels of our success in 2024, when we were runners up in this prestigious competition, we aim to go for the top spot this year and WIN, WIN, WIN!

Competition entry will be open from 1st March, with judging taking place in May/June.

….This is where you come in!

We had an amazing group of volunteers last year, who armed with garden tools and gloves, all pitched in to help the ‘Big Village Tidy Up’. Hedges were trimmed, weeds were pulled up and signs were cleaned. However, to claim the winning title this year, we are going to need to up our game and with your support I am sure that we can.

…We are already on the case!

A village best kept village action group has now been formed and overtime they will be asking for help with activities such as litter picking, general tidy ups, watering and fundraising so keep an eye out via this site and the groups own Facebook Page as to meet their aim, they will need all the ideas and help that they can get!
